Born in the city of Glasgow, Scotland I moved to Bramalea Ontario as wee boy . I was brought up in a home where music played an important role, and was the soundtrack of our lives. I was raised on Motown, Rhythm & , Blues, British invasion, Good Disco, and soul music ( A mod home ). The radio was on in my upbringing constantly. Music worked its way into the fibers of my soul and before I knew it I was spending every cent of my allowance on records, once I was old enough to work I then started spending all my pay checks on collecting music. The first album I ever bought was Dirty Deeds “ACDC” and the first single was “Green Onions’ Booker t and The MG’S. My perversion for music led me to a career in the Toronto club circuit as a club, concert ,and rave D.J , progressing to playing house and techno. I love it all, rock and roll, R &B, funk, soul, disco , retro, indie, Manchester, Brit Pop ,punk, jazz, disco, techno , house, and the Beatles . Any music is good music!
I then decided to follow my heart and pursue a career in the wonderful world of radio broadcasting. That passion led me to Seneca Collage to complete the course. All of those variables have led me to my destiny for A career with The Peace River Broadcasting Corporation, and to the Beautiful place that I am now proud to call home, Peace River !
FAVORITE CONCERTS:
Tough question, I have seen pretty much every major touring band (well over 100 shows), I broke my Cherry at the Adam and the Ants concert (Massey Hall Toronto). I have seen the rolling stones 23 times (another perversion) but the private party for the launch of their “ Bigger Bang Tour” at the Palace Royal (500 people) was the highlight of my concert travels. Following The Tragically Hip for two weeks from Chicago to Toronto during “The Phantom Power” tour was up there, and all 3 James Brown Shows (The Godfather of Soul!

UB40 (twice), Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, The pixies, Erasure, Depeche Mode, The Tragically Hip (Ohio, my buddies fault) The Black Grapes, The Who, and I can’t remember the other ones.

Hands down, The Rolling Stones. Actually at one point in my life I was convinced that I was one, but I’m alright now, I snapped out of it and came through with a funky wardrobe and an awesome record collection!
